Thermobonding calenders

A wide range of products such as protective clothing, geo-textiles, interlinings, filters, surgical dressings and tissues are produced on Klieverik bonding calenders for the thermo-processing of non wovens.

Throughout the years Klieverik has developed 3 special types of belt bonders, which can be used for a wide range of materials and process lightweight non wovens from 10gr/m² up to 1000gr/m² and more.

  • The belt bonder.

  • The belt bonder with an automatic (within 3 min.) removable belt. The double drum bonder.

  • This type is used for simultaneous double-sided thermo treatment and very suitable

    for thick substrates.

  • Thermobonding technology

The principle of a Klieverik belt bonder is a heated, special-coated cylinder with pressure rollers, and a silicone belt. By means of this heated drum and by varying dwell time, temperature and pressure, the Klieverik belt bonder can be used to give special surface effects. The internal oil-circulation system ensures an equal temperature under all circumstances. Klieverik delivers its belt bonders as stand-alone units or as part of a complete production line for non woven.
