Cotton ArtŪ System

Transfer printing has made a breakthrough with the new Cotton ArtŪ System, joining now all of the advantages of transfer printing with those of reactive printing on fabrics made from a cellulose fibre such as cotton or viscose.

Cotton ArtŪ Technology
This technology is based on the principle of the high-quality reactive printing method. It combines the photographic sharpness and details of the transfer-printing method with the brilliant colours and shades, the natural softness and the excellent fastness of the reactive dye-printing method. The Cotton ArtŪ System is a cold pad batch system and is environmental friendly due to the low consumption of water, energy, polluting dyestuffs and chemicals.

Cotton ArtŪ Process

The Cotton ArtŪ Process production system consists of a big batch unwinder, compensator, driven lath roller, foulard or padder, belt calender, belt washer, web tension control and big batch winder.

The textile is fed together with the transfer paper into the specially developed printing system, where it is moisturized to a certain degree in a foulard or padder, which is an integrated part of the system. The actual printing is done in the calender by means of pressure and dwell time. No heat is involved. Afterwards the transfer paper and the fabric are separated and winded up. After a batching time of several hours the dyestuff has reacted and has completely fixated in the fabric. The fabric is then rinsed afterwards and can be finished by means of all kinds of after-treatments

Advantages of the Cotton ArtŪ Production System.

  • High efficiency of 90 %.

  • Environmental friendly due to the low consumption of water,
    energy, polluting dyestuffs and chemicals.

  • Easy handling of the complete printing process.

  • There is no need for a printing thickener and for
a complete washing process, simple rinsing is sufficient.

  • Extreme short runs possible which ensures large flexibility and less time-consumption.

  • Large amount of designs with endless variations in colour is available.

  • Photographic sharpness and lively details. Brilliant colours and shades.

  • Printing on all cellulose fibres. Any fabric, woven, non-woven or knitted.

  • Reduced cost of labour. No sampling cost.

  • No cost involved for preparation.
